At Chatterbox, our Coaches work with us on a freelance basis. That means you won’t be assigned specific working hours. Instead, you get to pick when you're available, and learners will be able to book you during these times. We’ll even let you know where our learners are based so you can maximise your potential bookings by setting your availability to match their time zones!

Once you’ve set the hours that you'll be available, our learners will be able to book lessons with you (we call them ‘Live Practices’). A Live Practice can last from 30 to 60 minutes in total, and students often book them in batches. Generally, learners will book an entire course (that’s 20 Live Practices) with the same coach, for the same hour each week. Courses normally last around five months in total, so that’s plenty of time to get to know your student and really help their language skills come on!

Don’t worry - we’ll also help you work out how to get the most potential bookings. All we ask is that you make yourself available for at least 10 hours each week so that you have the potential to receive multiple bookings each week.
